Over 15,000 spaces for substances hazardous to water Many pharmaceutical raw materials and other materials are classified as hazardous to water. For some pharmaceutical customers who have been with us for many years, LOGOSYS has taken over storing such materials, semi-finished and finished goods, and supplying them to production. In order to meet the legal requirements regarding environmental protection and other areas, in the year 2003 we installed the corresponding safety features in large sections of our warehouse space. Various high-bay warehouses are equipped with special floor coverings and spill barriers to retain hazardous substances and water used for fire-fighting. This means that today our Darmstadt site can store more than 15,000 pallets of substances hazardous to water (in water hazard classes 1 to 3) in an environmentally appropriate and safe manner. |
