The deciding factors that persuaded LOGOSYS to introduce the "Pick by voice" system in 2004 were the improvement in quality and efficiency. Every day LOGOSYS picks more than 5,000 different stored items - ranging from prescription-only and OTC medicines for pharmacies and wholesalers all the way to dialysis fluid for hospitals and home care, and materials for pharmaceutical production.

Switching to a paperless system for picking individual items for small orders has enabled us to increase safety both in picking and in feeding goods into the picking system, while at the same time achieving high levels of flexibility and reliability. The impressively low error rate of under 0.01% of the total number of individual picks speaks for itself.

The voice system from zetesIND leads the picker safely and surely to the correct place in the warehouse. A sophisticated system of check digits, which the picker has to re-enter after every pick, guarantees that the correct goods are packaged and dispatched.
